Summary Directs activities concerned with the contracts department, materials, products, or service by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, and performance requirements,
Prepares bid packages for estimators and orders bid bonds as necessary.
Reviews bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
Maintains contract and contractor status databases.
Develops payment applications for Contracts Division.
Build job cost reports and man power reports for active jobs.
Reviews all correspondence concerning contractors and ensures project manager responds as necessary.
Take minutes for Contracts and Safety meetings.
Correspond with project managers to maintain the bid board.
Maintain filing system in the Contracts Department.
Process change orders.
Develop Budgets for jobs in Quickbooks.
Acquire insurance certificates from subcontractors.
Order Insurance Certificates for jobs we are working.
File Notice to Owners.
Order prints and specifications for bids / awarded jobs.
Set up submittal skeletons and assemble per specifications of the project manager.
Provide any assistance needed to estimators for bids.
Assemble Prequalification packages.
Draft As-built drawings for the job close-out packages.
Assemble Operation and Maintenance manuals.
