Summary Coordinates customer service activities of the service/systems department by maintaining the service schedule, initiating service requests to perform electrical services and elevating actual or potential conflicts to the service manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

As first backup to the receptionist, answers the telephone after 2 rings.

 

Maintains the Job Board.

 

Receives and analyzes customer requests for electric service to determine reason for service request, type of problem, job details and customer information.

 

Monitors service tickets daily for accuracy and completion.

 

Maintains and follows up on jobs requiring materials and customer call backs.

 

Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

 

Receive and prepare work orders and estimate requests.

 

Contacts service personnel over radio or telephone to obtain or give information and directions regarding service or installation activities and ticket price-outs.

 

Solicit the sale of new or additional services.

Enters daily time for service employees for weekly payroll.

 

Reconciles stock purchase orders.

 

Create and prints COD invoices.

 

Produce ancillary projects, reports and services as requested by other departments or personnel.

 

Oversees the generator maintenance program.

 

Performs administrative duties as requested by the Human Resources Representative.

Coordinates permits and licensing with municipalities.

Education and/or Experience
