Job Title: Service Department Project Manager

Reports To: Byron Overstreet

Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm

 

Relevant Work Experience:

3-5 years electrical experience a plus

 

Career Level:

Manager/Supervisor of staff

 

Salary: $48,000.00 annually

Summary Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service by performing the following duties. Maintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources and managing staff.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Records information such as name, address, articles to be repaired, or service to be rendered.

 

Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.

 

Schedules service call and dispatches service crew.

 

Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments.

 

Determine staff hours, number of personnel, parts and equipment required for service calls.

 

Manage the timely and accurate invoice processing, employee time posting, parts orders, Service Letter completions, quotes, and customer follow-up.

 

Make and communicate critical decisions consistently with leadership, integrity, quality, urgency and teamwork.

Handle complex and escalated customer service issues.

 

Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.

 

Estimating of jobs when requested by customers.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                   

 

Directly supervises 6 or more employees in Service. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include   planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
