Summary Plans, directs, and oversees implementation of comprehensive security, fire alarm, access, CCTV and structured wiring  systems (low voltage systems) for protection of individuals and homes, and business, commercial, and industrial organizations, by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Inspects premises to determine client needs.

 

Provide technical support to field technicians.

 

Create job estimates.

 

Prepare job drawings.

 

Requisitions materials.

 

Control labor costs.

 

Analyzes compiled data and plans and directs installation of low voltage systems.

 

Creates, maintains and complies with all record-keeping and administrative incidentals as required.

 

Directs installation and checks operation of low voltage systems.

 

Notifies client of security weaknesses.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                   

 

Directly supervises 3 to 5 employees in Systems Field Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
