Summary Records payments to customers’ accounts and maintains accounts receivable and payable records by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Prepares daily cash deposits and (fills out cash control sheet) daily.

 

Performs daily mail run.

 

Answers telephone after the second ring.

 

Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.

 

Updates the magnetic job board.

 

Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested.

 

Processes daily credit card deposits.

 

Files check stubs and bank receipts.

 

Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.

 

Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.

 

Re-bill outstanding invoices.

 

Inputs vendors’ invoices for payment.

 

Inputs time and materials from daily work tickets.

 

Assists with related special projects, as required.
